HostRocket.com is targeted to resellers and not so much the end user. Hence when you show up to their site they don’t really have a place for just “hosting”, when you click on any learn more link, you end up on a reseller hosting page. However their niche being resellers is done very well and very affordable. They are a no frills hosting company which seems to be one of many with the same features. When they set out to start building wheels they didn’t want to modify, enhance, or improve. They just wanted to do 1 thing and that is build wheels (rather supply great web hosting).
Features
They also have a 24/7 toll free hotline for support which makes taking care of your customers as a reseller very appealing. They have all the features that a top tier host would have such as WHM / cPanel and all of the software that comes with it. Their pricing is what is most appealing at $4.99 / month on a 2 year contract and they offer added features such as a dedicated IP for $2 / month. HostRocket.com domain registration is way too high to think about being competitive, which lets us know they are still looking for that 1 sucker in 100 who will pay $20 for a domain name.
