Have you ever searched for a web hosting provider, and then searched for good honest reviews? I can bet $100 without asking that you came across some site where the owner of the site was promoting a few different host and giving you the run down in a boring grid like fashion.
If you are like me, it didn’t take you long to realize the so called “hosting review sites” are not really review sites at all. They are ran by slick affiliates who want to do nothing but make a buck. When you click on their links, and order hosting, they get paid.
HostingGoneWild.com aims to be a bit different. So how are we different that all the others and what are we doing here?

That’s right; your input into this site is what drives the reviews. Our results are ranked by a unique algorithm called “Hosting Review Weight”. Which in essence means each time you
created a review for a hosting site it goes into database and impacts who makes it to the top. Of course we write our 2 cents for each host and of course you are welcome to submit a host if we don’t already have them listed.
Some of the metrics we ask you to rate each web host are the features, support, value, uptime, speed and overall rating.
So the more each of you review each our listed web hosting provider the more it impacts our rankings.
No Advertising?
No Advertising? Erm – No. . . The only way we make money off this site is by embedding a affiliate link with the host that supply us with one. This is no way impacts the rankings of the host, but does allow us to at least pay for our own hosting if one of you decides to purchase hosting after reading our reviews. We also offer a few paid slots and have a few do-follow site wide links for sale.
